Become a Mentor
By deciding to become a mentor, you’ve made a truly life-changing decision for yourself and for children in need of friendship and guidance. There are many mentoring programs out there to consider joining, and it’s important that you choose the organization that works best with your skills, talents, and goals. We hope Bright Country Mentors is that best fit for you!
How to Get Started Mentoring with Bright County Mentors
Once you contact a coordinator at Bright County Mentors we will ask a few questions to get to know you, your background, and your goals. You should tell our coordinator what age mentee you think you’d work best with and what your schedule looks like. It’s very important for us to have a clear and honest picture of your interests and availability in order to give you and your mentee the best match. Let us know what your hobbies and interests are! We will try to match you with a mentee who will love to participate with you. After our interview, we will perform a background check, and get in touch to let you know about training times. When training is over, you will get to meet your mentee!
